Overview:

The Donut Derby is a fun 36 mile race with a twist: Get a 3 minute time credit for each donut eaten at stops located at mile markers 12 and 24. Donut-adjusted time determines the winners in numerous categories:


Tandem, plus male and female age groups:  11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.


Lunch, Awards, and Drawing:

A complementary lunch for DD riders and an awards ceremony follow the ride. 


Each person completing the course will be entered in a drawing to win a variety of prizes. Want to improve your chances? We’re offering virtual donuts for $1.00 each. Every Virtual Donut purchased will give you an additional chance in the drawing. You must be present at the drawing after the ride to win a prize.

Online registration only, opens ~May 1st, closes September 2nd at 12:01 am or when the field limit of 350 is reached.  There is no day-of-event registration. You will not be able to ride if you have not pre-registered!


$25 per rider age 11-19

$50 per adult rider age 20+

$80 per tandem, includes both riders

Check-in opens at 7:30 am on September 7th.  To prevent congestion at the start, you may start at any time between 9:00 am and 9:15 am. Don't worry, the timing chips will track your overall race time.

Download the 2026 Donut Derby Route for your GPS device. The route will not be marked but rider cue sheets will be available. 


(The route will be published ~1 week before the event and will also be sent out to registrants with the instructions several days prior to the event)
